There’s something about Mildred. Maybe it’s the expression, maybe it’s the attitude, but she looks like a cow who has a few opinions—and isn’t particularly concerned whether you asked for them.

Mildred is part of my continuing series of cow paintings, each inspired by the wonderfully quirky faces and personalities that make these animals so much fun to paint. She’s cheerful, a little unexpected and exactly the kind of character who can add some personality and humor to a room.

The original has sold, but a limited edition of only 100 prints is available. Prints are approximately 7.5" × 9.5", presented in an 11" × 14" white mat with a certificate of authenticity and protective sleeve, ready to fit a standard frame.
